Can someone verify that the second gen 200x front hub is a flipped third generation 250r front hub physically speaking. I know there may be subtle differences, but the look almost identical.

The 200x hub has the same part number as a 350x and the 350x and 250r hubs are basically the same. So that's that.

The 86 200x hub has a hb5 designation which is 350x.

I've got that wrong. The 350x is ha5 not hb5.

Youre right, the last three digits in the part numbers are different and those probably stand for the slight differences in them

Here's my real question. We know a second gen 200x hub will work on a first gen 200x so you can use a xowner 10" front wheel. The second gen 200x hub looks basically the same as a 250r/350x hub. So I was wondering if the 250r hub flipped would work on a first gen 200x?

I can't answer that for you.. But I have a feeling that a lot of the sport atcs have similar front axle/ hub setup. When I first got my 1985 250r I found out it had an 84 250r hub axle and spacers on it just flipped around so the rotor was on the correct side. The only thing I could see that was different was that it offset the tire a little to one side.
