I'm interested in knowing this also.
    Other parts that are silver:
    Swingarm
    Suspension rocker arm
    Shift lever
    Brake lever
    Rear carrier housing
    Front hub
    Foot pegs
    Did I miss something?

Something I have been wondering, did the factory use primer?
I don't see any and the film thickness is low so I don't think they did. Can someone say for sure?
What engine paint are you using?

I powdercoated mine "silver sparkle," which has a little more sparkle than OEM. If you go to a dealer he might be able to get the exact color for you. All the parts you listed (don't forget the grab bar) are painted silver except the front hub. It's left its natural aluminum color.

It's the same silver as the same model year kx bikes. I have been looking at a few of those builds to get a better idea. When I lock down a paint color I will post up.

It appears that the rear hubs have a little touch of dark siver in them , they def look darker than the frame color

I think the rear hubs are plated, at least on the 86 they are.

Yes, I think it's zinc plated.

I can get you the paint code tonight. I used a GM silver when I painted mine. it was the closest match I could find and actually was able to end up getting it in a Duplicolor can at any auto part store.Click image for larger version.

The paint I used is Duplicolor BGM0508 Ultra Silver Met (95 WA8867, 96 WA8867) Replaces T191. Cleared on top of this to make it more durable.

I was going to suggest pj1 frame paint. It's really close to factory.
