You basically have to get a section of the cylindrical race cut out to loosen it a bit. I used a reciprocating saw to get the cut started then finished the job with a chisel and .

First I try heat and a blind hole puller. If that doesn't work then I get my dremel out with an aluminum oxide grinding stone (pointed style) and begin grinding down the inner bearing surface little bits a time. Eventually, you have it thin enough where you can stick a tiny screwdriver between the housing and the outer race. I pry out until I get a bend in the bearing and then use a pair of small vise grips to get a good grip on the bearing and twist until it pops out. Takes patience but it works for me every time.

Once you have one side out, get a deep well socket with the same diameter as the outside race but small enough to fit inside the front housing. Sit the swinger on 2 2x4's, slip an extension on the socket and slide the socket and extension through the housing. Heat the bearing side you want to break lose and give it about 3 good whacks. Those bearings come out like butter.

I haven't seen 200x Delrin bushings offered for a long time. I wish somebody would start making them again.

I'm going to be making the 200x delrin bushings. I've been waiting on some tooling and honestly have been busy as hell lately. I should have something ready this week for jmoozy to test for me.

Got a '84 swinger on standby for those bushings, Bryan. Btw, those shelves look nice...

I was going to turn some bushings to sell but I thought DC mentioned he was too...or maybe it was BKM.

I decided not to because I don`t want to step on any toes unless the demand is too great.

I'm in the middle of making 30 350X headlight guards and then a dozen 250SX guards so the Delrin is up for grabs!

I don't wanna promise something I can't do. I lost a phase on the lathe yesterday so I have to see if I just lost a start capacitor, relay or the 3rd phase itself. I have to get back my mega-ohmm reader to test the windings.

I don't need the lathe for the guards. But, I'll be out of metal today, gotta order 2X as much as usual.....

Question. I was looking at making my own delrin bushings for a different project (74 TY250 and my 83 250r) on my atlas... do you guys use an oil impregnated delrin or just regular delrin?
