Mickey here is another angle of the 200 class start, can you see your bike?
*edit for double post*
in #1 picture san jose I am behind the banner in the front row,, and mickey isn't that you rollin up to the front right behind the banner? I started a couple bikes off the inside,, you can see a yellow fender that's me...
HAHA! that 110 is actually a 180 and this picture is the last race it ever raced in. That bike looks exactly the same today. i took it to the 2014 CALVMX 3 wheeler national. Still runs. Broke the pull cord in Mark's hand when he was showing me how to start it. Too cool to see it was pulled off the track and put up for 30 years.. just like that.

@manbearpig - When i signed with Honda to race their Fourtrax in 87 i was hanging out with Chuck Miller for the day and we went by Wax's condo for lunch and while there i saw his hopped up 110, it was super polished and in his living room on display.![]()
John, do you happen to have any pictures of Jackie Meadow's 86 Team Green 125 Tecate?

@BKM - No sorry i have not come across any photos of Jackie, he never raced head to head against myself or George and my Dad stopped taking his cameras to the races around the time we stopped racing the Franks bikes so ive almost no photos besides magazine cut outs from 85 onward. If i do come across one ill be sure to post it.

Nickolson XR500
Nick Nickolson's vision of a XR500 three wheeler,so clean it could be a factory production model.
Our vision of a XR500 three wheeler was a bit more...aggressive.

Start of the Score World Championship at Riverside Raceway,1982.George and his XR500 are on the far left.
Local race at Sand Hill Ranch 1982
San Jose Flat Track Nationals 1982, first lap George is third behind Team Honda's Mike Coe #23 and Dean Sundahl #34
With Dean behind him George would set off after Coe and for most the race would not be more than a bike length off the lead.
Notice on Mike's fuel tank is says "350", Coe's bikes always had those nice little extra touches.
In the end Mike held on and would win the Open class Championship and George was left with a disappointed second place.
Feel free to add questions or comments.![]()

Tires are a front tire off a sprint car made by Goodyear if i recall correctly, wheels are some custom ones my Dad had made but i forget the name. Ill ask George next time i speak to him. Far as i remember i never raced or even rode the XR500 so i do not remember a huge amount about it.
I do recall it had a motor built by Rob Selvy that was bored and stroked to something like 580cc and the pipe was a straight megaphone that was so loud it made my ears ring the for hours after the races. It had a oil cooler and about every other cool goodie you could come up with.
I can get more info about it from George or my Dad.
Thank you, funny how back in the old days you had to think "Outside the box" for tires and wheels, then a few years later you could buy anything you wanted and now you have to think "Outside the box" on tires and wheels...It's tough to find- Armstrong, Ohtsu, Hoosier, Carlisle, Dunlap, ETC. ATC tires except for 30 year old NOS tires that go for a mint!
