Is the 86 seat thicker than the 85's 250r seat? I cant decide what seat cover i like better. I have an 86 and dont want to buy one for the 85 and then find out my foam is too thick.

Yes foam is thicker on the 86, by about an inch.

yep like bkm said at least a 1" thicker for the 86
