I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet, but will next time I go to the range. I want either a 43 or a full size 17 in 9mm. I have a 1000 rounds of 9mm and don't even own one.

I thought I made a reply addressing the glock question BKM but apparently I di not. I was not ignoring you, sorry.

But yea I have looked at them and I know they have a rep for reliability and what not, but they are not for me..I am not a fan of the sights, and I do not care for the safety designs. In my line of work, I need the extra positive safety since my piece gets bumped around a lot. Additionally, Of all things left to keep my money in this country on, a firearm is at the top of my list is another reason.

That is not a bash on them, they are obviously a good firearm.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

    Nice old rifle Bryan.

Here are pics of my Winchester 70 from the dealer when I bought it. It now has a new Leupold VX1 and a leather sling.
That is a beauty. I've always had a soft spot for any Winchester firearm. I have a couple Winchester pumps and a model 94 30-30 that I love.

    Mosh,
I totally understand, Glocks seem to be love/hate, with almost no in between. I've owned my G27 for 12 years and have not had one ftf or malfunction, not one. I carry it every work shift on my ankle. I carried a G22 on my hip for 7 years and never had a single malfunction or FTF, except for the time an incompetent department armor reassembled it incorrectly.

That being said, a choice in firearms comes down to personal preference and what the buyer ultimately feels comfortable with. I think you made a good decision.

I absolutely hated my lc9... But it's gone now... My daily carry piece is a Sig Sauer Nightmare 1911, and a galco fletch holster... Makes that big pig ride tight to my back. Love the Nightmare!
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

To the contrary, based on several reviews of the redesigned PT111 G2 , I'll be picking mine up next weekend. (Refer to the 'trade' in my tri moto thread. This was bought by my brother but never fired.) It actually is a 12+1, which you guys that know more about gun specs than I do probably already knew. Another of my brothers has had one for a while,
(Read: dont mess with my brothers ) and he has reported no issues whatsoever. Pretty excited to add to the cache, so figured I'd share.
