I just picked up this little beauty from an estate. It's a 1939 or 1940 Walther PPK 7.65 (.32ACP ) with matching holster and magazine.![]()

Last weekend was a friend's bachelor party at The Cove Campground. It was the first hard riding I've done since my accident…and also the first time I got to do some serious training with my newly acquired Para P-12 (3.5" 1911). It's one of the old models that's all steel and the previous owner had some work done to it. Accurate as hell for a compact (plinking torso sized steel @ 150 yds), comfortable, and great for reflexive CQC shooting. I went through 200 rds and my only complaint is that without round nose bullets the slide would occasionally catch and require a light bump to close (I carry unchambered and usually belt-rack unless I'm drawing my Glock 19 from the chest serpa on my plate-carrier). Riding was epic too. It was the Big Dogs Offroad Ice Breaker and was crazy muddy…so we got to watch some amazing crawling and mudding…plus got hella filthy in the name of fun! The BDOR guys were great too…never had so many compliments and thumbs-ups on the trails…and I think they were thoroughly impressed that we were blowing through the soupy mud that some Jeeps were getting stuck in.
Ragin' full on...
