So I couldn't help myself. I have already restored an '86 250R with the help of people on this site. The other day I ran accross an '85 250R roller. +4 chrome swing arm, chrome tripple clamps, chrome footpegs....
She use to be somebodys baby....
Paid $100 for the roller. I have most of the parts in my garage to put her together..... So let the fun begin....

The guy just wanted it gone. I was being ass when I offered him $100, He suprised me and said yes. I've been looking for a frame for a while because I have so many parts. I even have the bottom end sitting in my garage left over from the last one of these I restored...

What a steal, even though I'm not much into the 2 strokes I would have snatched up a deal like that too. I don't even see any rust on the frame, of course I'm from Michigan, so everything here is covered in rust.
