Wink 1985 Honda ATC250R Rear Axle and Bearings Replacement

    Hello,
Well had a little too much fun on the R the other day and well long story short, I bent my axle. So I am looking at various options and brands for the axle itself (OEM, lonestar, dura blue). I thought that since i was going to be replacing the axle i might as well do bearings as well!

The bike is a 1985 Honda ATC250R with a complete stock rear end.

SO i need some general info on the following please :
    1) Axle brand?
    2) Different sprocket hubs where to buy
    3) Bearing replacement parts needed? what will i need to make this happen?
    4) Anything you would suggest i look into while I am back there?

This will be my first R axle replacement so any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Any brand aftermarket axle will be just fine and should come with a sprocket hub. I would invest in an anti fade lock nut for whatever axle you choose. I've used the all balls rear bearing kit without any issues, but if it were me, I'd buy a billet carrier with bearings installed. The oem 85 carrier had a horrible adjusting system.
