tri z wont get fuel to cylinder

Ok ive did complete case splitting crank rebuilds to just top ends on over 100 250 tri z and tec 250s and ive never had this problem. I just put new crank in a tri z with new crank seals new top end in all. Now when i try to start it if i put coulpe drops gas in cyl or spray in back of carb it will run for 2 3 seconds and die. It is not stator or any other elec problem.its not fuel pump or carb as i built engine put in bike that had weak engine so its not any of those .is there anything other than one of the ports in each crankcase half is clogged up im guessing thats problem but before itear it down to check i wanted a few experts to tell me of anything else it could be before i do that

Reeds? Crank seals? If there isn't any pressure in the bottom end when the piston goes down it won't force the mixture into the cylinder. Two strokes don't create vacuum on the down stroke the way a 4 stroke will.

Are you sure the float bowl has fuel in it? You need to prime it if it was empty. Pull the fuel line off at the carb. Blow into the fuel vent that loops into the steering head to pressurize the tank. Fuel should come out of the fuel line. If it does hook it back up to the carb and blow hard in it a few more times to fill the float bowl. Shoot a little fuel of WD-40 into the carb and lite it up. Should start and run in 3 kicks of less.

If you can't get fuel to flow when blowing you either have the petcock, off or its plugged, or you're low on fuel.

If you do fill the carb and it stalls out after a minute or so let us know, could be the pump of a kinked/blocked vacuum line from the cylinder.

first of all if you read my post you would have seen that i said all new parts in engine .second its a tri z so it has a vacum cyl that has a thing on bottom of cyl going to fuel pump to get its pressure third i said ive built alot of 2 strokes engines so i know how they operate. And lastly i said i like a few experts to help so no offense but i dont think you are anywhere near an expert so please do me a favor and do not reply to my post when you dont read before you post any ideas

i have a clear fuel line its getting plenty fuel to carb i took carb of my race z and it does same thing it will run if you spray in back of carb and i can put it in gear rock it back and forth to see it flownd watch fuel go from petcock to carb it just wont let fuel go into engine

If you are sure that other carb is fine, you might need to look at the reed cages. Have you done a pressure test on the engine itself? ... IDK.. just pulling at straws here...

Weird. Can you put your hand over the carb and have someone else turn the engine over to see if there is strong vacuum? Maybe something got stuck under a reed?

When i spray fuel in carb and it starts ive tried to put my hand there and its sucking good i will take reed cage off and check them out but they are not old at all and its same reeds and cage that came off other motor. Maybe ill get lucky and that may be my issue it sure cant hurt for sure lol

Did you do anything to the cage or reeds when you had it apart? I've put them back in upside-down and they don't seal. Do you know how to "suck" test them?

At the risk of being laughed at I've forgotten to remove exhaust dust plugs and had start and die symptoms like you seem to be having. Just throwing that out there.

A must when hauling on an open trailer (or just use a rag). You can start a 2 stroke engine with it in, but it dies after a couple seconds.

You've built "hundreds" of engines but can't figure out why your tri-z doesn't have fuel in the carb?

Seriously, go outside and practice falling down. Every single thread you post in turns to shite. You bring nothing to the table but conflict and drama.
