    Talking Cylinder boring for you??

    Hey 3WW members.

I'd like to add a facet to my work.

I've spoke with John Tice and I am currently seeking a quality used boring machine with his help.

My local shops cannot even hold 2 thousandths, let alone 1!! I had to send my cylinder all the way to Oregon to get it done correctly!!

Anyhow, of course the work I do will be excellent.

It will cram right into the shop; I gotta start somewhere.

I'm just poking around to see if I could get some work from the 3WW guys as well as advertising.

Well, based on the response, 3WW members seem to have there own work covered, lol.

But, there's allot of pistons and cylinders out there!! 3WW isn't the only place I can advertise at....

If I can drum up work, John is more than willing to teach me on building custom sleeves.

Boring a cylinder is an art. These machines get it dead nuts.

No bullchit "Power Hones" like my Honda dealer does.

Do it once, do it right and be done with it!

P.S. I'm taking a TIG aluminum class over the winter

DC there are guys on ebay doing this for $45 a hole and they do excellent work because they've done thousands of cylinders. I bore cylinders as well as a few others here, but to be honest it's usually not worth the time unless there's a bunch to do at once. I know you'll do a great job and wish you the best.
