My wife continues to tell me the same thing daily. She also keeps telling my NK is going to take out the US power grid, California is going to slide into the Ocean, China, Venezuela, Iran and Russia are colluding to devalue the dollar. A Sunflare is going to take us all out. Aliens took the Malaysia plane that disappeared and are holding it ransom until world leaders give up their nuclear weapons and on and on. Search pretty much anything you want to see and the Internet will provide, including predictions and warnings of all kinds. And every once in a while one of them will be right and people will flock to see it.

I’m sick of it.

The fact is the world has been ending ever since somebody wrote it would on a cave wall. There’s always somebody trying to spread fear on this planet and there is always been somebody that will believe it. The Internet has just amped it up a gazillion percent and it really makes me sad to see how many people are drinking his Kool-Aid and missing out on the simple joys that this life offers.

I’m not saying that humanity isn’t doomed to disappear from the face of the earth one day, be it from natural disaster or by our own hands, I’m just saying that anybody who’s going to sit around and worry about it happening is wasting their lives.

FYI, when the Narco thing was at its peek here people were posting up warnings about where there would be shoots, kidnappings and other events, many near my home. Not one singe time did any ever happen as advertised, but when it did a week, or even a month later someone would always say "Someone tried to warn us!". Then a warning with a date on November 1st became something people would be concerned about for the following two months. There were restaurants and bars that literally closed up over this all because someone with nothing better to do posted it up on social media.

I went looking for the Internet warning Bill posted about. These are some of what came across. Seems there was a guy that sort of predicted something like this would happen, but apparently other people from that site said he made a lot of predictions and likened one coming true to winning the lottery. I mean to judge no one here, but would invite anyone thinking this was a coherent warning to at least read the snopes links and question why anyone with forehand knowledge would post it on an obscure site and for what purpose.

One of Anonymous's videos talks about how people were shocked, shocked I say, that someone could predict the Las Vegas incdent within MERE WEEKS of it happening.

Throw enough sh!t at the wall and eventually something will stick.

Undercover arms deal? With ISIS? Of course. Everybody knows the best way to conduct and illegal arms deal is to cart 20 firearms and massive quantities of ammo up 33 floors of a very public building with (allegedly) security cameras that record everything, as opposed to some clandestine spot in the desert just outside Terlingua.

You conspiracy guys want an ISIS connection? What if I told you a very rich Saudi Arabian guy with (allegedly) ties to and funding of terrorism owns the top three floors of Mandalay Bay?

And Paddocks "girlfriend" wasn't mail order, it was his neighbors ex-wife, IIRC
