    Kawasaki KLT 110A Manual

Does anyone have a manual for a KLT 110A, repair manual and/or owners manual? Tore it apart last night and I want to be sure I put it back together right and stuff.

Yeah it's burning a lot of oil and has no power. My dad thinks it's not the rings though because instead of getting a little better when it warms up it gets worse. He thinks oil is getting in between the valve steams and the guides. I haven't romoved the valves yet to check that though. Also when I tore it apart last night i noticed the piston isnt exactly tight in the cylinder, I can push it just a little, is that ok, I can't really express how big the gap is, but I'm not sure if you can even see it. Also theres a lot of fine metal shavings everywhere, that can't be good. It was given to us, it sat for I think like 5 years, we already put a clutch in it and rebuilt the carb. Any suggestions?

A service manual for you KLT 110 can usually be found on Ebay.

Since you have the head off, you should change your valve seals anyway, but you will need a new head gasket so at least get a top end kit.

Feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I dont have a seervice manual, but own two (2) KLT 110's. :-D

I e-mailed you some help on the valve seals.

As far as "NO POWER". You may have a ring problem, or you may have a timing problem. Did the engine make any wierd noise when it ran?

You may have a dual problem. Worn valve seals causing the oil burning and timing/carburetor problem causing the low power.

    Let me know
