So i was board tonight and decided to do some archiving. I remember this whole ordeal well, and the grilling this dude took for sharing pics and offering up a bit of info on a trike that had never been seen before. My how things have changed over the years. Many people have come and gone from this site over the years, and opinions are as varied as cloud formations... But, i still know one thing. This was, and still is one of the RAREST trikes of all time, and quite possibly still the most original surviving example of a known 86. Luckily we have passionate people like O.C. to set the record straight.

I see someone has tiger envy...Dr Death certainly doesnt not have the ORIGINAL 86 Prototype...As for the others, call it cobbled...call it rusty...call it what you wish....To me its an ARMY of tigers and its ALL GOLD and I 'm proud to bring them back to life. Thats what I enjoy.

FACT... i dont miss the Dr.s arrogance. at the time he thought to have the rarest, baddest, whatever the saying went, trike. unfortunately, O.C shed new light into the world of what is tiger, and the Dr's claims went down the sh!tter, FLUSH. FACT: The Dr. has no ground to stand on anymore calling his the sickest, illest, rarest, trike around. so i doubt you will be hearing anything form him. FACT: i do miss his stupid comments though. FACT: i wish i had half the time and money, and collection of bikes that were built from a shed bucket of rusty parts...
and now is time for dr... oh forget that, thats stupid also.

as for the whole comment on the shed bucket of rusty parts and cobbled together, lets see what your bike looks like as opposed to one of O.C's....

Amen to all that!!! My guess is that 88 turbo bought Dr. Deaths tiger a while back when I was being contacted by Dr Death himself about buying it......if thats the case thats what I attribute those comments to.....if not he was either having a bad day or tipping back the bubbly...He's a closet tiger collector that scans the forums at 5am ..... The 86 tigers are sweet....and how many of you have seen anything I've done that falls into the "cobbled category"....I spend my life searching and acquiring the right parts and machines....If it's not right or needs the perfect part it stays undone!!! ......cant get any better than buying the auctioned off contents of the TIGER factory!!!!....and nothing has stayed rust colored....blasted, refinished, zinc plated, etc. In fact the frames I have are in spectacular shape....no dings in the bottom rails ...no typical tiger stress cracks. Oh and that rusty 125 will look factory new when I'm done. I have one of the coolest things ever planned by assembling over 10 tigers at once in a lineup similar to the tiger factory photos. Negativity and bad karma irritates me. I have said this to others ...""Remember...this is a hobby ..this is supposed to be fun!!!""

FYI, I miss Dr. Death a bit!!

O.C., just finished browsing your tiger web site. awsome info and pics in there. Props for setting it up. After reading some of the articles, i found myself a little giddy. I live in upstate ny, about 15 min. from lebanon valley. Been there a million times as a kid to see modified dirt racing. Never new they hosted trike races there. Also it says the tiger mickey rode there was borrowed from a race shop out of Pittsfeild Ma. I was born in pittsfeild! lived there till i was 17. then moved to ny. Lebanon valley is the exact half way point between pittsfield and East greenbush which is where i live now. We used to always go to Ronnies cycles, to dream about the atv's. He also built race motors. Never heard of the shop mentioned in your article, but i am going to see if i can find anything out, as i am still in pittsfeild regularly. I also have been told by a good freind of mine that he knows of a guy who has a tiger in his garage. not sure of which model, but i am going to see if i can find out more on that also. Maybe i can get my hands on it Any way, just thought id share that with you. Sorry to highjack the thread, but atleast its tiger related.
