I worked on my X for quite a while today just tieing up some loose ends

I indeed got it finished. Here are the last pics of the build,,

I'd say the frame, headlight guard and the right side up carrier are the best points

Nice job Roy, hope it's freshened up good enough for you because thats ALL that matters!!

EDIT - That front fender stay came out sweet too!! Just call me "BENDER"

The only thing that i forgot to do is swap the rear tires back, so they're facing the right direction

The only thing I don't like about the Maier rear fenders is, how the kick starter has a tendency to swing open, where the OEM rears has the notch molded in for the kicker to stay closed

looks nice but you really have to pull the motor, paint it, then pull the axle and paint that...

that would make it much better

I love the front on shot! nice build for sure! did DC fab that fender support? or just pc it. When you recover the seat go red, It will look sick, and unique! You can freshen up that axle easy without taking it out. Use a wire wheel on a angle grinder to get the heavy rust off, then raise the rear end, put it in gear, and take a fine grit scotchbright and wrap it around the axle moving back and forth from wheel to swinger, shines it up nice! spray it with some clear, or just keep it lubed with some wd at all times. Just be careful when doing this, its easier with another person, and safer!

DC didn't fab the front fender support, I picked up a used fender that had it. It had a few bends and tweaks. DC straightened it and re powdered it.. As far as recovering the seat in red, I'll keep that in mind
