How much for a set of triple clamps?? I don't know, I really didn't keep track of my time since it was for myself. If I had to guess, around $500 for the set. Many hours on my little CNC.

I use a ShopTask CNC machine. Yes, I do the programming myself. I draw in a program called Cadkey and do my machine paths in BobCad. It's a great home shop machine, I build bicycles for a living so it's perfectly sized for what I normally make. Hey, a motorcycle is simply a bicycle with a bigger engine right??? LOL...

If anyone wanted a custom set of triple clamps, we'd have to figure out something we both felt good about. These are the first set I've ever made, they turned out great but I don't claim to be an expert on the subject by any means!

Thanks again for all the positive words! I'll keep you posted with pics as the rear end takes shape.

Here are a couple CAD screen shots for you to see what the rear end will be like...

Obviously I don't have it all figured out yet, but getting close. For reference, the two bent tubes that create the swingarm are 1-1/4 x .058" CroMo tubing.

^ Fantastic!! Thanks for sharing. I knew you weren't a NOOB

ESP, when I saw the steering stops on the lower clamp. It's one thing to deal with one plane, but to cut that out is a whole other level

Nice stuff and thats great that it all rolls into your buisness/hobby anyhow....

I've made some progress on the rear end, here are some pics to prove I've not been sittin on my a**... LOL...

I bent two Cro-Mo tubes and cut out some dropouts to hold the rear axle/hub assembly. I also started the rear hub and have the flange to hold the wheel in place. Still need to make the flange to hold the rear sprocket and disk rotor. I will create brackets to attach this swing arm to the pivot point on the frame of the motorcycle and brackets to hold the jackshaft assembly.

Keep it up, awesome work. Are you keeping the measurements/plans for this? So you can make another one?

Anybody that designs something that they say is completely idiot proof, fails to realize the resourcefulness of a complete idiot.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.
