Your best bet is to break the rearend apart and grease everything. You might even have to knock it apart with a rubber . I usually pull the carrier out and clean it and the swingarm and then grease it upon reassembly.

I hate to steal somebody else's quote but what the hell- If you can't figure out how to adjust your chain you probly shouldn't own a three wheeler. I mean, it is tough. I'll give you that. Just think though- once you conquer chain adjusting, you can move on to bigger and better things like clutch adjusting, and maybe, just MAYBE, someday you will bleed a brake. God bless America!

I couldnt have said it better myself. The only thing i would like to ad is" buy a manual"
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If the caliper mount doesn't spin on the carrier, how can the carrier pivot to adjust the chain??

Sounds like you've got something seized up somewhere.

Also, take the 2 carrier pinch bolts out and screw them in from the bottom. Put something flat, like a large washer in the pinch bolt gap and tighten the bolts against it. You'll see the swingarm seperate just a bit.... It helps open it a bit more and you can spray some crap in there too.

Hmmm - I wonder who said that about adjusting the chain
