    1983 Tri-Moto Project

Brought this home out of a barn near me as a project. Was told its a 1983 YT175. Spend time cleaning out the carb and got it running on pre-mix. I do not know a lot about these 3 wheelers so I hope this site will help with some of the mods I would like to do to it. The exhaust does not look to be factory, can anyone tell me if it is or not?

A neat little home made hotrod. Not a stock exhaust. Someone had made a neat little yard bomber out of that trike. The tires are alot smaller than stock. It would be a rough ride on anything but a nice level yard or maybe even a small smooth dirt track. Looks like fun. A lot of potential there. You may want to also get another set of rims to have some stock size and shape tires so you can ride it in the bumpy stuff and have it not be too miserable. I'm not sure of the exhaust, maybe a bassani, but it's hard to tell. Welcom to the site and best of luck with your new little hotrod.

The exhaust is made by Cobra. You can barely read the sticker. It does look great. Good luck and welcome to the site.

Nice find it looks like it needs work, but these trikes are so easy to work on. Good luck.

Its going to be a project but at I did get it runnig with out to much trouble. It does have a busted throttle cable on it. I would like to use a twist throttle on it and still runn premix in it. Any one done that and what would be a good one to look for?
