5000 lb. BEAD BREAKER !! NO PROBLEM 250SX TIRE SWAP

I had a junk set of blackwaters on my 87sx while deerhunting a few weeks ago. I acquired these in a trade...thanks Kiser... I could no longer bear the shame in the mud on those steep hills. Threw these Maxxis All Trac 22's on the ole' gal!! I used my high lift farm jack and a 1998 f-150 with great results to break the beads Always wanted to make a reese hitch receiver for it and prolly will when I get time. This worked absolutely fantastic!!! Jut be sure to keep jack straight and go easy..... popped em' right off in seconds with just the regular jack base. Boy the SX digs now......what a difference.

Works well as the jack is......would really be the cats meow if you had a semi circular beveled bead breaker either home made or from an old machine on the jack base.

i've been doing it that way since i was a kid,the older bumper jacks work really good, the base on them fit around the rim instead of just being square.

I just drive the front wheel of my van over them. Loads of control, you can run round the rim to a degree, and you're a bit further away from it if it goes 'ping'!
