BAD SHAPE!!! How old was that guy, and how thick were his glasses?!?! That is a low mileage, low hour, intact, well outfitted 350X. Hasn't been butchered or molested. If he wanted to see bad shape he should have seen my 350X, lol. Awesome score, I'm jealous and will be waiting anxiously for a ride report!

PLEASE: take good care of this machine! You have found an extremely nice 350x there for a ridiculous price. Do the machine and yourself a favor, go download the service manual and go through the routine maintenance section. Go through all the items. This machines deserves to be loved!

    Super nice score, congrats!!

For $500 that is a good score! An 86 350x and that bike is in very good condition, don't ride it too much you dont want to devalue atc much. Everything looks in very good condition enjoy it and again those are getting very hard to find.

I bet your mind was racing all the way home, lol. The guy must have meant his eyes were in bad shape not the 350X. WOW! It looks very near mint other than the 1980's dirt on it Get you a OEM throttle cable/ lever, Dirtwheels is right you better get some OEM HONDA fork boots before they go discontinued also. I would love to find a deal like that, there are many gems out there waiting to be discovered, please share more pics after you clean it up!! congrats!!!

Wow nice deal!!! Clean it up and take good care of it..We'll woth the money....Again wow... This summer I had a lucky day also as i went to a garage sale and in the back of the garage was an all original 1985 honda sx. It sat there for most of its life and the owner was the original owner who bought it locally at the old honda dealership..He finally decided to sell it for only 400$ and i was a happy yard saler that day..lol. When i saw your speedo i got to thinking as mine has the front wheel speedo drive gear hook up im going to go back to that yard sale again and ask the old guy if the speedos still kickin around somewhere...Again nice score on the 350x!!!

U know my motto...If u have one,or ones to ride. A Classic like that needs to be stored and only putted around once ina while. Make her minty fresh, and sit her up on a stand. As long as you have others to ride. You might be VERY surprised the hundreds of hours of enjoyment you ,your family and buddies will get out of gawking at her all freshened back up sitting on display. You could always sell her to me too. I'm not afraid of shipping . What a score....

Ride the hell out of the 85 and keep this one nice....Take it out for lawn rips every once and awhile and you will be glad you did not beat on it 10 years from now...Me and a friend both bought 85 honda sx 's about 5 years ago. Both were in excellent condition. He beat the piss out of it, flipping it over many times doing wheelies. Now all he has is a cracked, bent up rust pile because he left it outside for the 5 years also..Everytime he sees mine he say i wish mine still looked bran new...lol

i fired her up today i first pulled the carb to clean it but was shocked to see it was spotless other than a little residue in the bottom of the bowl. it looks as if the carb was ran dry but the tank never got drained so i ran a remote tank and the third kick it fired right up and idled smooth and crisp. the pleasure and excitement just continues to grow the fuel tank on the other hand looks as if it was left with a full tank of gas and everybody can imagine what 24 years latter looks like inside the tank. i have been soaking it the last two days.

Evapo Rust!Works good and easy on paint. Then seal it with Caswell tank sealer.i put half the Evapo Rust in and concentrate on cleaning half the tank. Then use remaing on the other half of tank.
