    Good grammer is now racist:
This is your first post. Tell me again how I am the one that made this about race. LOL.

Yep, as usual it was me that started it. Thats why tripledog erased his "negronics" comment, right? The one that came way before i ever posted on this thread, that you all clicked 'like' on? The one that you in particular responded to with pictures of black entertainers? Coincidence, i am sure.

There were several racially charged posts immediately following the o.p., which was also clearly racially charged, before i ever posted.

"The decline of our educational system"... You mean the same one that taught you how to spell "grammer" wrong, twice, in the first post? Not normally one that cares about spelling, but yours often sucks, so i wouldn't be pointing too many fingers. Must not have been that great when you were in school either.

Yes, communication and language has a constantly evolving standard. Dost thou comprende?

    Keep talking.

OK Dohcbikes, as I admitted I have never heard of debates like this, thanks for the explanation. But having said that, I still think it's ridiculous. My opinion.

However, for you to imply or directly call me racist is absurd at best. You don't know me personally, nor do you have a clue about what's inside me to even imply I am a racist. But you are free to think what you want, however wrong that may be. Im not going to lose sleep over it or get into a name calling match with you. What you fail to see in my comment is that I merely pointed out the double standard that is accepted by pop culture as to who can use what words and the fact that I am fed up with it. If you fail to see that, then there isn't much more for us to talk about on this topic.

Oh and to clarify when you asked who I was speaking of with "they" and "we". " They" are black folks who think it's OK to use the "N" word and are very often the same group who like to call "us" crackers. Not to be confused with black folks who are better than stopping to that level.

"Us" refers to white people who are often referred to as "cracker" by the first aforementioned group. Now here is where it gets tricky, I'm not big on white people calling black folks "N" words either, shocking as that may be for you to hear. It's a scab on society and if it's wrong coming out of one person's mouth, it's wrong coming out of anyone's mouth.

Like it or not, that's my position.

    Matthew 12:25

But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand."

Apparently you failed to read the link in the "racially charged" OP. The one who claims it's racist is Ms. Chalabi, I merely posted the article:

Consider Mona Chalabi, an editor of the iconic leftwing British newspaper, The Guardian, who believes that having good grammar and correcting others is racist, an expression of “white privilege.”
    And

“Grammar snobs are patronizing, pretentious, and just plain wrong,” claims Mona Chalabi, before touching on how rules and standards for the use of language tend to evolve over time.

Chalabi then advances the neo-Marxist narrative of power discrepancies between groups, casting “older, wealthier, whiter” persons as neo-Kulaks. Those with poorer grammar, it is implied, belong to a neo-proletariat in need of benevolent protection from enlightened bourgeois socialites such as journalists employed by The Guardian.

“It doesn’t take much to see the power imbalance when it comes to grammar snobbery. The people pointing out he mistakes are more likely to be older, wealthier, whiter, or just plain academic than the people they’re treating with condescension. All too often, it’s a way to silence people, and that’s particularly offensive when it’s someone who might already be struggling to speak up,” concludes Chalabi.
Negronics? It's just a word, why are you so hung up on a word?

I didn't know that Tripledog removed his comment until you brought it up. What he does with his posts is his business, not mine. I took his comment as the joke it was meant to be, since I don't try to find racism every chance I get. How the hell is it racist to post pics of 2 black comedians? Who else better to decipher ebonics ?(you know damn well that's what he meant, talk about ridiculous folly) For those of you young folk who don't know, the word "Ebonics" is a real word created in the 70's as a term for "Black English".

For you to call Ride Red a racist for pointing out the FACT that there is a double standard on the "N" word is disingenuous, obtuse and flat out bullsh!t and you know it. How edgy of you.

Intenshunal mispeling to make a point must be over your hed.

Is my spelling and grammar perfect? Nope. There are a lot of times I misspell certain words on purpose just because, and from time to time I make a mistake or miss something when I proofread my posts. To the extent of my grammar sucking, not hardly, but nice lame try at an insult. It doesn't suck any more than your grammar and spelling. There's a big difference between small intentional misspellings, the occasional mistake, and intentionally butchering the English language and trying to pass it off as "cultural differences"

Grunts, rasps, deep breaths and slapping ones chest IS NOT evolving.
