Aside from violent wounds they all had one thing in common, the were all azzholes of the highest order. Based on Damon’s Internet demeanor it isn’t a hard stretch imagine him escalating a situation rather than trying to defuse it. Remember the law of attraction? I suspect Damon’s cut was a result of it.

Amazing isn’t it? Douche has once again managed to turn a thread he admittedly does not know or care about, on a website he claims to not care about into a thread about him. Not the first time, but the first time I can recall that he’s pushed the plight of a murder victim off to the side to inject his special brand of duchery up to the front of the line. He’s even posted numerous times since saying he was done on this thread. Quite the drama queen he is.

He retires like Kiss. Every 6 months he has a farewell tour.

Here's the way I see it. I don't think it's mob mentality at all. He comes in here with his very abrasive tone and passive/aggressive sociopathic ways. He seems to lack the ability to interact with people without insulting, belittling, berating those who don't share his view on things. I think that people who in the past just kept our mouths shut for the sake of keeping the peace have just had a belly full of it and are calling it for what it is.
It's as if he is a wanna-be forum shock-jock whose sole mission is to make the biggest spectacle of a thing that he can. Sometimes it just gets to a point that enough is enough.

Dude has been "deported" what, 4 or 5 or more times? Only to "sneak back across the border", play nice for awhile, then reveal himself and try to convince others he's a changed man. It doesn't take long for him to go back to the same behavior that got him 86'ed in the first place. He's trying to force others to accept him instead of fixing his behavior.

As redsox said, dude always has a "one up" story. Just a little better, a little more dramatic, or a little more pitiful that someone else. It really starts to reek of attention whore.

If he actually had a rough life, crappy childhood, or whatever, It's up to him to figure out how to deal with it. The world doesn't owe anybody anything for how their life has evolved. I'll preface this next comment with this: It's a generalization and not necessarily directed at The Dude. I'm not making accusations or assuming anything when I say: Whether it's bad parenting, poor life choices, or someone just got the sh!tty end of the stick in life, it's no one else's fault, and others can only do so much to help fix it. The majority of the weight of fixing a shitty situation falls on the shoulders of the individual involved.

Lastly, his behavior isn't unique to 3WW. He has a reputation for the same type of behavior on other websites.

The whole point of debate is to try and convince the other side that you are right. That can never happen when all you do is insult people.

Well said Sir. I love a good debate and sharing opinions, but lately it seems that if one disagrees with the convictions of others it jumps straight to insults. Yes, guilty as charged, but I’d like to think I’m not the one throwing the first stone in most cases.

Along with this there seems to be some folks on here with very thin skin who are more than eager to start or inject themselves into a controversial topic, but as soon as differing opinion is put up that contradicts their’s it’s a problem. They can dish it out by the shovel, but they start to choke and gag when they get a spoonful back.

I would think the Forum title of “OPEN” would be sufficient warning in itself that when someone posts up their thoughts here, no matter how deep or shallow they are exposing them to the masses for interpretation, interaction and perhaps even ridicule.

If they simply want to post their thoughts on a topic and call it a day, they can start a thread, put their post up and close the thread. Or they can not close the thread and accept that regardless of how convinced they are of their opinion that there will always be someone else with a different one and that that persons convictions on the subject may be equal or greater than there own.

When one enters into a debate they must first acsept that at some point they may have to be able to agree to disagree with the other side. Inability to do so is what leads to everything from dissolved friendships to wars.

It's now a sanctuary STATE, not just a city. He picked up a gun, pointed it in the direction of people and pulled the trigger and the bullet hit someone and killed them. 5 time deported felon and obviously a danger to the public, and they found him NOT guilty on all counts. And that's just it, I'm no BAR certified attorney but I believe the charge of manslaughter certainly applies here. You can be charged with that crime when you accidentally cause the death of another human being through your own negligence. The fact that he is a 5-time deported illegal and in a state where the politicians are in open defiance of immigration laws allowing pukes like this to stay makes it that much worse. Too bad the mayor in San Fran and the governor are not brought up on charges as an accessory in that crime!

I'm always surprised and impressed with the intellect of the members here (including Damon). Its also a great cross-section of society. People form all over. Each one fighting their own battle. Brought together by this one weird, quirky, AWESOME commonality. The word "diversity" gets tossed around all the time. This site is truly a diverse group. I enjoy coming here, asking questions, and learning. I don't care to fight, but i do like to argue a point. The difference between the two is what some fail to comprehend. I wanted to add that, but i'll move back to the topic at hand.

There is a case here in Massachusetts where a disabled man drove into the front of a restaurant and killed a couple of innocent people. He has a condition where he is slowly losing the ability to use his legs. Its not ALS, but its similar. Anyway, here is a guy who has grown to adulthood without a run in with the law. He gets this horrible disease through no fault of his own, and yet he still tries to maintain his independence. Well, the worst happened and people were killed. Its bad. They charge the guy with motor vehicle homicide. He's gonna go to jail. A decent person, who is dealt a bad hand, is going to jail. I can't help but wonder what would have happened to him if he was an illegal immigrant.

The way that US law varies from state to state is very interesting to me as compared to Canadian law which for the most part falls under federal (RCMP) jurisdiction as soon as it’s even remotely important.

So back in 2008 I’m spending a lot of time in Houston with some locals and a case comes up where a guy saw two people robbing his neighbors home, called 911 and told them to hurry up and come get these guys because if they step foot on his property he was going to shoot them. The 911 operator kept telling him to go back in his house and wait, but he kept repeating that if they come into his yard he’s going to shoot them.

Sure enough these two boys start walking towards the old man and you can hear him loud and clear on the telephone telling them to stop, turn around and get off his property or he will shoot them. A few seconds later you hear the gunshots.

He put them both in bed with two shots. No charges were ever filed even though a certain sector of the community which these criminals were from was upset over it, common sense prevailed. I love Texas. The don’t put up with any crap. Friendliest petiole you’ll ever meet if you behave like a visitor and the most bad ass cowboys around when someone tries to harm another person.

In this crazy world we live in, i would believe that the victim's family could launch a wrongful death suit against the people behind the sanctuary city nonsense. I never liked suits of this type because money can't bring the poor woman back, but assigning blame here could be huge in changing how local governments ignore immigration laws

It runs a tad deeper than the above mentioned items...... kate was used as an example of failed immirgration policies in california by Donald Trump during the election cycle when he was campagianing. He brought her name up often. And for good reason.

Now the liberal stronghold of San Francisco and its jury pool to pic from has given Trump, and Kates family and all who voted for Trump, the middle finger. Justice means nothing to the Liberals, they just want revenge. No morals at all.

There is one fundamental difference between this guy and any other homeless or poor American felony defendant. Thus guy had the full fund-raising force of Liberal outrage on his side and was HEAVILY represented in court thanks to the donations from pathological altruists who are merely protecting the agenda and not the subject. Seriously, there were several folks bankrolling this guys defense only because they were protecting the ideology they vote for. These are the true racists. They never really care about any of the "immigrants" or "refugees" that they pretend to care about. If a Republican professed to hate broccoli, Liberals would line up to start broccoli gardens in every back yard in San Francisco as a way to nurture feel-good nonsense and throw a middle finger at conservatives. Its about the battle between Right and Left and it has been for a very long time. The foreign folks are merely pawns to each side. Useful idiots? No, useful immigrants. Adults these days are as petty as their juvenile counterparts are and most are not very far removed from their highschool days thanks to social feedback loops like social media provides.

This case was stacked against the victim, not because the assailant was a "poor immigrant" but because he elicited ire from most conservatives and most of those folks in favor of Rule of Law. This was never about "justice". It was always about politics. Its not about brown folks. Its about maintaining Liberal dominance of domestic policy. its not about "creating a better life for Latino immigrants from Mexico, and Central and South America. Its about San Francisco maintaining their self-righteous pet projects and protecting California`s self-defeating policies on immigration. Same is true of Obamacare. When I CAN find an eloquent and thoughtful Liberal to discuss the subject, they almost always end up agreeing that Obamacare is forced capitalism but stop short of shutting off support for such stupid ideas because ultimately, it casts a poor light on their own reason and decision-making skills. Its akin to defending your POS girlfriend or boyfriend to your parents because you are embarrassed that they "told you so" long before you realized it. Its all about not having to admit you were wrong.

Its not about justice. Its about winning against "the Nazis".....to them, their entire ideology that they have invested all their emotional effort in was on trial in San Fran. Might just as well called it The State of California, City of San Francisco, and random homeless Latino immigrant VS. Conservative America.

Funny how they have raised tens of thousands to help homeless Latinos ( San Francisco has been trying to get rid of all homeless people secretly for years now, ironically) skip a murder rap but the same "anti-racists" lift NO fingers to help those homeless who aren't shooting women tourists because they were bored or ignorant. Nothing more racist than using a man of different ethnic background to further your political agenda. Same as using a man of different ethnicity to pick all your cotton for free. But hey, it helps these people sleep at night, right? Do they think white homeless deserve less consideration and effort than Latinos? Apparently so. That's called racism.

There is no such thing as pure Altruism.....people do good for other people because of what they themselves get from it. You may feel good about helping other less fortunate people. You may be trying to score with a Liberal chick. You may be trying to impress your friends on social media with your feigned righteous indignation or your protestations against generic "oppression" but no matter what your motive, you do things like this ultimately because of how it makes YOU feel. It could be argued that Altruism helps those in need no matter the personal agenda of the giver, which I agree, but its time to stop pretending in ideals like selflessness and altruism because nothing is ever as it appears on the outside and a specific group likes to hide behind all this smoke and mirrors.

The fact remains, anyone with enough money can skip a murder or manslaughter rap. Ask OJ. Ask that "affluenza" kid who killed those people drunk driving. You getting a public defender means you get a jail sentence guaranteed. That's why this guy walked. Heard over the weekend a House Rep has proposed a bill that would imprison and fine elected officials of Sanctuary Cities. The fine could reach $1,000,000 max penalty. I say hit them where they cave, in their budgets.
