Started the day at 4:00 AM with little man dog being restless even after she just went out at 3:00 AM. We couldn't figure out what was up until I tried putting her out again only to find a large whitetail doe roaming the backyard. I have 6' fences around most of the yard and one little 4'section behind the shed where I keep all my metal for welding. Guess where she went over the fence, lol. A little history, me and the Mrs were watching a large doe eat the food I put out in the alley at 9:30 PM and when she finished she walked up to the fence and looked into the overhang by the shed. I realized she could smell the open bag of deer food under there but left promptly. Fast forward to 4:00 AM and now I'm in a deer herding exercise in 2' of snow all around the yard trying to get her out through a gate, good times had by all.

The more this world goes to crap, the more I'm considering moving to Arkansas. Probably the northern part. The less people the better. Seems like the Last Frontier to me.

Sometimes it gets a little warm when running down the freeway.....not over heating.....just staying hotter than it should.

New water pump a year and a half ago...no leaks....runs fine

I figure I'll give a new thermostat a shot. The old one looks fine but it was a pain in the rear to get off......... everything is a pain in the rear to do on a van.

Hopefully that solves the issue. Ever had a cooling system flush done?

Could always move to Canada-stan, lol. A lot of lib-tards live in the big cities so you just need to travel to rural US I'm guessing.

    Knappy

It is Honda power, (though I did have a log saw once that was hit-miss)
    Swingblade mill made by Peterson
Love it and use it every month or so to make lumber for projects that I want to do on the cheap
I think I missed my window of sawing wood and selling at end of driveway (lumber is coming down a bit)
Mostly a hobby that cost me more than I save (just like all my other hobbies)

What type and year of vehicle? All radiators eventually get pugged/fouled. I've seen my fair share of them that people replaced everything except, and it turned out to be the radiator was kaput. No shops to rod/repair them anymore, have to buy a new one.

Several people thought I was FOS until they had a shop pull the old one and couldn't hardly get anything to flow through it.

If you don't already know, heavy equipment even has coolant filters. You won't find those on passenger vehicles though.

Unfortunately, a lot of liberal exremist refugees have fled to here. Once here, they think they're disciples and start to crap their own beds again.

Stay away from Northwest Arkansas an you may like it. They're trying hard to attract the money of wealthy liberal extremist.

Little Rock and anything ~thirty miles north/south and all the way to Memphis had been bad for decades. Those are very high crime areas.

The Ouachita Mountains are some of the least populated, but also the most remote in terms of larger towns and services. The Ozark Mountains are more popular, but also more sought after and have higher property values.

The most northern part of the state has an abundance of outdoor activity choices. The more western/central part has a large amount of the same, but it's less social, the people there don't take as easily to strangers.

Where I live used to be more open in terms of riding. Now I either have to take one of my dual sport motorcycles or ride on leased land that used to be public. I'm lucky that I know people who own hunting leases and I can ride there. The New Years ride is pretty much open to anyone, but it's still on private land. The rest of the year, the lease owners aren't thrilled to have strangers riding there and during hunting season it's a big no-no. As it is, I basically just have to cross the highway to ride and I have lived on the very edge of the Ouachita National Forest which I could just ride from my driveway to miles of ATV trails.

Living like that, I really have a hard time living anywhere where I have to haul to ride.

I did'nt think of that during the picture, but yeah, it looks like that. There were actually at least two large groups and they left in different directions only to meet head-on later. I was ahead of one group and pulled off the trail to allow space. When the two groups met on the trail, it was a drink break and to decide who was going where. I also try to keep people in the pictures I post online unidentifiable unless they're alright with it, and in large groups, I'm not walking around asking strangers (which would get me shunned).

It was a great group of people, just out to have fun, and I had several come up to inspect the trike. Not a bit of trouble with a whole lot of strangers riding together.

Many of the young men were on quads, but the bulk of the ride was SxSs. Not any pavement and the whole ride was relaxed, so I was able to keep the 200ES in low range and just chill. I was able to go around all the big holes that had standing water, and even then I still had to get off an walk the Big Red through some of the mud.

I was able to ride from the house to this. Several of the people I talked with had come from farther away and it was kind of a big deal for them. One young man I spoke with talked about the negative helmet stigma he experienced, which I mostly thought was a thing of the past. Nobody else I seen was wearing a helmet, but I guess a long-haired country boy gets a pass, especially when he's on a trike.

Some day I may actually have mud tires on the 200ES for one of these rides.

    Ok nevermind then

This is what I'm seeing happening all up in Kentucky and northern Tennessee (Thanks to the coastal liberal attraction to Nashvegas) which is why I'm wanting to leave.

    That leaves Florida I guess

What are you doing today? Thread

I'm getting the inside of my new garage set up which means the work bench first. I built it pretty stout. I've had too many work benches that end up moving when you're trying to work on something big, and they all had plywood tops. Specht hooked me up big time with the plastic. That really makes the bench. The metal I had bent up by an Amishman. The bench is attached to the wall and the main part of it is made with 6x6's.

I've had this grinder for a few years now and I've been really looking forward to getting it going. It's an Atlas grinder hone model 2400 from around 1953. It was covered in oil so I assumed it was leaking the last time it was used, so I went ahead and ordered new sealed bearings before I even bothered turning it on.

The upright shaft has these flat seals, they're like washers almost. I wanted to replace them, but I wasn't able to find any replacements. If anyone can find anything comparable to an Atlas 993-001 fibre washer please let me know. It looks like that shaft was leaking but the area the seal rides in was very dirty, so it may be OK after being cleaned up.

The top stone is reversible with a different grit on either side.

I feel like if I measure the fibre washer I have a replacement might be able to be found, but it has to be the right thickness or it's not going to work. ID and thickness are more important than OD. I could theoretically trim it to the right OD but I'd rather not have to. The first one on this list looks like it has potential but I cannot get that website to open.
