The fender is on the correct way, it just looks silly because its the 200x fender, it will be replaced when i get a 2nd gen 250r front fender. The headlight looks silly because its using the 200x mount.

Not sure if they are 10 inch razrs ill check in the morning.

Anyone know anything about the shock?

I would love to go riding any weekend, buuuut I dont have a way to transport my bike I really need a truck of my own haha. Every time I've gone out I've been stacked three deep in my buds truck, borrowed my old roomates truck to grab the 250r. So I'm kinda able to go riding at their convenience haha.

Right now I have a wrangler with no tow hitch and I can ALMOST fit my 200x in the back with the top off... I need to trade it in for a Tacoma or something...

    Sorry no BR wheel either

wow, I like the R a lot, I think with that setup this thing will be bad arse on the trails. has anyone ever tried putting 85-86 250r forks on a fooler? I mean I have seen water cooler swinger and forks on a 200x, why not the fork on the air fooler?

J.J did you not read the whole thread? Also the the main page of trikesylvania there is a new thread button that works great, also there is a search button. your bike 20 something years old so there is bound to be somebody that has had your problem on this website.

I have seen a 2nd gen with an '85R front end. It belongs to 3wheelerlouie on Airfoolers.com.
    Rides I own:
    '85 200X(old smokey)
'81 ATC250R(Bassani pipe, Wiseco piston, Vesrah rod, and AMS offset rims)
    '84 KXT250 Red(the new money pit!)
'96 KX125(FMF pipe, Boyesen reeds, One Industries graphic kit, etc.)
'85 KX125(vintage racer. Technically it was a practice bike)
    '78 DT400(the lone Yamaha)

Haha well it was kinda what was available to me, I already had a 200x parts bike i picked up for $100. Thats why I would like to know if the rear shock is swapable with the 200x.

    : those RAZRs are 20x11.00-10

Also can anyone tell me if this is the factory carb? I have a feeling its not.

Well, the 200X front end wouldn't be an upgrade on an 83-84 250R, as they are essentially the same, other than the headlight and maybe the fender. The '85 front end I think would work on 1st gen Rs, but it would require the usual steering stop mod, and I dunno how much you'd have to hike up the forks in the trees to get it to ride right, as the 1st gen front travel is 7" and 3rd gen is 10," or something like that.

Its not an 81-82 carb. Doesn't look like a 2nd gen either. Kinda looks like the carb on my DT400.
