2 strokes rule...
r1 will kill it, sorry i like liter bikes on the street.
my rm500 destroyed a cbr1000 up to 100mph and it dosent look like the r1 is killin it either... haha and the 2stroke is half the size
and no one comments that the rider of the R1 is shitty and let off rather than ride out first?
My last bike was a 94 r1. Most high power smaller bikes would stay close till 100mph, then they would start slackin off. The r1 is just gettin started at that speed. The thing wold run almost 70 in 1st gear before it would start banging the rev limit. You could start 100ph wheelies without slipping the clutch . That being said, if the r1 driver is scared and the other driver is good than you got a race. But you put a good driver on the two the r1 is gonna pull away and leave it behind at high speed.
they didnt make r1's in 1994...you had a fzr1000...2 different animals r1 came out in 98.
Stock Busa hp on this RG500 suzuki. 146hp RG500: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEOGY...eature=related
ya 146hp out of a 500 says it all 2 strokes rule
yeah here is more backup for me to say that 4 strokes suck, watch it and weep!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbzQpZ7gFfo&NR=1
that vid was an instant favorite..
point of this thread is that a 1000cc r1 has 50 more hp than a 500cc 2 stroke street bike stock for stock...
but how do you factor in the little suzuki 4 strokes that can easily touch 160hp?
Idk how much they weigh, but I know that was the first...and LAST streetbike I ever through a leg over.
