These mounts are now on the NLA list. Wonder how many people would like a custom made one? It's tough to correctly mount the pipe without looking rigged, and have the necessary "give" a 2stroke pipe needs. sblt500r, you still makin' custom stuff?

Swiney is probably your best bet. He has grafted rubber to metal on intakes.

Most of us can't vulcanize rubber between 2 pieces of metal. Pipes have to have a little flop to them.........

John- I hate to be "that guy" but it appears to me that in the 2nd and 3rd pics you're focused on the tank mount instead of the exhaust mount? I know the fourth pic shows your rider with the exhaust clearly mounted in the lower hole.. Am I confused?

These hangers have to built TOUGH! Heat, stretching, pulling, weight, and the myriad of different exhaust and silencer combos all dictate that it is durable, b'cause mounting positions all vary slightly. Otherwise they will fail in short order. I figured if someone had the skills to do these, it may be worthwhile. The necessity for it to absorb shock and abuse is paramount!. The oem used a rubber similar to what a tire is made from to join the two halves.

When were these discontinued? I picked one up from my local dealer a few months ago, albeit a little pricey at $20.

Great info Mike ! I just ordered one for 18.06 (add tax) and will be available for pick up in a few days.
The old part # is superceeded by 920751891 wich represents the "better" one because the originals was prone to separate (i think we knew that right )
My Kawi guy told me what all those fit, about 15 different machines, mostly motor cycle.

That is correct, just about all the kx series bikes use that same mount. I just buy them off the KX500 p/n, and they fit both gen tecates.
