most people who have never riden bowls would look at this and say 40/50 yards ...plenty of time to miss it.....

but they are unaware of the characteristics of a typical dune, its like a wave, with a smooth round side and a sharp wall side, sometime when your on the smooth side you cant see the razor or sharp wall side, plus mix in the fact that you were probably going at a good clip in 4th gear...THEN, maybe the newbs can understand why you almost bailed

LMAO...actually all this talk is mere Board Bromance.....in reality we are all tea totterers....it really compares to a mayan calender event like Dec 21 2012....the closer we get, the more bullchyte is spewed, pretty soon someones gunna jump off a bridge in panic

i just use 40 oz beer bottles with a metal screw on lid. some day i am going to make a reusable steel pipe bottle that i can screw on metal lids. would be much safer than the glass. today's glass bottles don't hold up as well as the old ones.

yeah dont get those LEO's started on writing tickets because they can hit you with the DB meter and spark arrestor violation. I am sure that glamis is worse just due to all the goons that they have to deal with, but it is a likely threat

I have never heard of them going after the gas cans though, has that happened to anybody in the group? I cant afford to go and buy all new gas cans and then have to fill em with premium...lol I just aint that rich

noise has never been an issue,, the gas can law has been in effect for a while,, they have started enforcement . in the last year worth of trips we have not been bothered at all, a large group will be fine if we maintain while in the flats... its pretty simple to stay out of the radar..
