200x heelguards

Messed around the shop yesterday with a set of 400ex Tusk heel guards.

My intention is to add a set of Warrior Tusk nerf bars that I have. Pretty much boxed in the pegs and drilled some holes and bolted em on. Had to extend the left peg, the right peg sits out more off the frame than the left one. Made a quik mount for the top to the subfrmae area. Sorry for the crappy pics, I will take some better ones tomorrow evening. Everything is just goodly tacked on in case I need to adjust something when I do the nerf bars. Also need more goodly bolts for the subframe mount. The nerfs should bolt on the front side of the peg like the guards. Haven't started the front mount yet. The front cross bar for the nerfs rests about halfway between the frame by the lower engine mount and front tire, kinda out in the middle of nowhere. Gonna take alot more Bud Lights to mock that up.

Heel guards, yes; Nerf bars are in case you can race your trike or for a quad to fill the space between. I'm just not into nerfs.......

I think the nerf bar looks pretty good on there. I am not sure If I would like them or not if I had to ride it with them, but none the less it looks good to me.

i am digging the heel gaurds also i like the look of them on there i may have to check into doing that to my 200x also.

I got them on my R also I have to finish the upper mounting brackets yet.

Ya, I'm diggin the heel guards. Went for a quick hour trailride with em. Seems like I kept my feet a bit farther back on the pegs knowing the guards were there. Gonna have to weld the pegs solid so they don't pivot. Make the rear brace alot better too, more rigid. But not bad for a couple hours pounding cold Bud Lights on a steamy hot Sunday afternoon. Not too sure about the nerfs now. I was set on nerfs then bought the guards afterward. Worried about the moto track made me get em. But I think I might just stick with the guards, might not. Still thinking about landing the big double and bouncing forward off the pegs. Prolly gonna get em set up and give em and honest try. With one just clamped on, it looks too busy for me. Gonna be alot of tinkering to get both of em to sit the same, then connected together at the front. They seem to come togeter at an upward and inward angle. So the connecter tube that came with them is useless. Gonna have to be a bent or v shaped piece.

i like the heel guards, as for the nerf bars if i need to get my feet off fast and knock the trike back on all 3 i don't want them getting in my way lol

if ya don't mind me asking where did you get the hand guards, they look nice on there

The Hand guards are off ebay there powermadd honda red.Give them a call or email they will tell you which mount to get.
