I've recently put a 1982 Honda atc 200 engine in an '84 200x, but in order for it to fit I had to remove the carb insulator (the intake spacer between the head & carb), now it won't run, it fires but won't start, so I am assuming the carb needs to be re-jetted now that the insulator is missing. So my question is would I have to jet it leaner or richer? does moving the carb closer to the head make an engine run richer or leaner?? & would I use a bigger or smaller needle jet to fix this problem?
