    85 Tecate hoses

I remember some guys getting up a group buy of some hoses. Are any of these left? My tecate is in need of some. I put a straight piece of hose on the one that goes to the head but now the one coming out of the pump has sprung a leak and it has allot more bends than the other one especially the tight bend coming out of the radiator. Has anyone went to the part store and found a molded hose that would work?

I don't see them on the site.. I guess send them a message to see if they have them or not.

Oct 13 post from Motohose- "Should have in roughly 6 -8 weeks......will update web site to include them."

It wouldn't surprise me if they have them and haven't updated the website or there was some delay with getting them done. As Doug said, I'd check directly with Motohose too.

I bought a set for my 85 but never got around to installing them. They went with TecateDan when I sold all my 85 Tecate stuff to him. He was crying about the set after he installed it, I guess there were a couple of fitment issues. They look fantastic now on the bike IMO though.

The website is still up (I posted the link above), the Tecate hoses aren't on their site. Moto Hose actually sponsored a couple of riders at the Anaheim 1 round of Supercross last weekend. If you go on their site, send them a message about the hoses. The hard work has been done I don't know why he wouldn't be able to reproduce them still.

I didn't try your link. I thought it was the same link I was trying https://ssl.perfora.net/motohose.com/utn and I kept getting a error 404 not found on it. I just went to the part store and matched it up. $10.00 and back going. Looks as good as factory.

1st I have heard of any more fitment issues. The 1st kit had the wrong size gas line but we sent out replacements. Others posted pictures with the hoses all installed so .... Please let me know if there are any fitment issues. Remember virgin hoses are tight and sometimes require a little TLC in getting them on the 1st time.

We currently have the 86 & 87 KXT250 Red and Blue kits in stock and are about to do another run of the 85 & 86 kits. ETA around the 1st of the year.

Do you have a quadzilla? If so can you give some measurements on the radiator hoses?
