Ok I finally got the 39mm pwk and vf3 reeds in, I made my own spacer out of an old intake boot. These bikes where just not built to accept a 39mm carb but I made it work the cable runs into the side of the frame under the tank and comes neatly down out of the frame into the top of the carb with a nice rubber boot to keep debris out. Heres some pics.

I havn't fired it up yet but I plan on doing so tomorrow, there should be a very noticeable power difference with the port work, forged piston, reeds and bigger carb I'm running.

the port work is really going to shine because of the carb!!!i had two of those bad boys, i can only imagen what the port work on the 300 will feel like. all my other cylinders were .080 over. also remeber the position of the spacer plate will change the power curve, rightnow its infront of the reed so your gaining low to mid, but if you put it between the reed and carb boot it will give you top end.

Don't idle too long, you want to warm it up, then get out and ride it to seat those rings.
