I saw a video of a 125m he called it a little red and I think it may have had reverse, and also said it was rare. I found one for sale a little pricey, I'm kind of thinking about making a offer but I'm not sure. . Are they really a rare machine?

The 86-87 125m are not as plentiful as previous 125m years model. The 86-87 125m are only years that have reverse for those models.

yea i dont think ive seen a 125m with reverse before, doesnt necessarily mean they are 'rare' but i would say more uncommon

Yes rare is the right word. The thing about the 86-87 125m is it better be pretty complete and in good shape. Because finding parts for this model is not easy. for example it took me 6 month to track down a exhaust pipe for my 86 125m.

If its in good shape buy it..I see them around here a lot..I picked one up beat to crap for 40$ thinking someday ill fix it..
