Jesus, Dorman makes them . NAPA, Oreilly and Pep Boys are all Dorman dealers and most of them stock them and Oreilly is all over AZ . If you know of an auto parts store that has a lot of the orange Dorman boxes, they should have them in stock but sometimes they have them behind the counter . If they don't have them they can order them.

You can also order them by mail from Summit Racing, Jegs, Speedway Motors, Graingers and McMaster Carr etc . Some of the larger boat supply stores may also have them as well as a regular industrial hardware supply store .

I found a Aquarium store down the street from me and the owner said he can order them, I am going to bring one by and see if we are on the same page if so I will get a few and send a pair to you.

Ace & True Value Hardware by me seems to have become the masters of carrying one of everything and when they sell out the parts are gone forever.
I have a few other places in town that I will check. I'm pretty sure that I'll find them.

A few nights ago I kicked it over for the first time since I've owned the motor. It fired right up and revved higher than normal. After adjusting the carb and throttle cable, it no longer revved and now it runs really crisp. I'm totally psyched now and ready to rip on this little beast.

Since then I ordered a new rear caliper and bracket off eBay. As expected the bracket did not fit so I'll have to figure something out. Installed a tusk tethered kill switch due to the oem no longer working.

I'm hoping to have a ride report soon I just need to work out the kinks.

Onformula1 built front end, Milner will be finishing the rear shock soon and I'm excited to see what he has in store for it. Very fine job on the forks IMO...

My version of a refinished tank and shrouds (way too much monotonous labor) I'll likely pay someone next time.

Machined a rear caliper bracket with 1/4" steel plate. eBay sellers alway screw me with the fine print.

    Voila!!!

It clears the brake hub by maybe 1-2 mil. I've been fighting with it for like 8 hours. I drill on of the holes 2mm too far and had to weld the hole and redrill and tap. I like the results though.

No CR125 caliper on the rear?

They don't have a E-brake,but you are blocking it off anyway.

I tried to fit it with no luck. Just seem like a bit of a hassle. The new caliper was $50 so I jumped on it. I may look into using the cr caliper in the future but for now I'm gonna see how these work. I will be using the cr rear MC though.

OK, on the 350X & 250R setup Mike and I are using we only had to slot one hole 2mm, it is a powerful upgrade with the two piston set and modern style.

I thought it would be easier, but I don't have a 1986-87 200X to compare with.

Just curious, do you have lock washers under your caliper mounting bolts.

You can also place a thin plastic [or Delrin, lol] hardware store washer over the bolts and nuts that don't have a flange before you tighten them . This will keep your nice new paint from getting chewed up.

I meant the bolts holding the brake bracket to the frame . they should have lock washers on them.

If you want to improve brake feel and reduce sponginess, install steel braided lines and don't use silicon brake fluid . dot 4 is just fine.

EBC R series pads are decent and will last decent.
