I use this for everything and it has cut and grinded every project of mine for at least the last twelve years. It's had a hand in my first extended Tecate swing arm, the building of the Tecate 500, and my bumper build last year, as well as hundreds of projects in between. It has been a fantastic tool and I have to go to the store now and find a replacement Hitachi.

Edit; replacement parts are available for it!

To add to the extremely exciting grinder saga, when I returned home from Harbor Freight yesterday with my new disposable grinder a friend had stopped by. He asked me if I'd gotten the lifetime warranty on it. I told him no, I was going to run it until it broke and then continue using my Hitachi which will have been repaired in the meantime. He said he's got the lifetime warranty on his Harbor Freight grinder and he's on his fifth one, and apparently "that's what I should have done". In twelve years my Hitachi has asked for nothing. I didn't like having to to stop what I was doing yesterday to go to Harbor Freight, now it's a good idea for me to have to do that five to six times annually? Silly story I know, but Glamy hit it right on the head. People live a disposable lifestyle.

Picked this up for $300. Needs a starter. About to pull the engine out. Should be an easy fix.

Not a turbo, it is the air cleaner. The bike has a rotary valve type air intake, and the carb is under the right side crank end cover.

LOL! Down boy! It's just a Suzuki air filter housing for what looks like a rotary valve engine.

For as rusty as she is it started pretty easy with the remote testing fuel tank. It wouldn't idle very good but I'm sure a good carb cleaning will remedy that. Also no funny noises...ie bearing, pin, etc.

The front forks will sand the new seals in a couple of strokes so I'll need to source a replacement. The rear shocks are frozen in place.

I got it so I could put both the Yamaha 90 and this on the back of the RV and "dork out" wherever we go.

I love the gas tank......it looks like the old "turtle tank" on my 65 ironhead. The location of the carb makes it soooooo much easier to work on vs the typical location

We had a Kawi KE125 when I was younger at the cottage. Had the same type of set up. Kawi had a oil injection pump that was blocked off. We just mixed our fuel. I am sure yours will come out great. You always do great work. Props.

All those old bikes were so much fun. XR, CT, GT, DR, DT, KD whatever. They weren't as cool as the RM, CR, KX and YZ bikes, but the cops went easy on them around our place, old men with rakes in hand didn't give you as dirty a look when you drove past on a quiet bike plus the scraps and bruises you got on this bikes usually healed a lot faster than they did on the ones earned on the racers.

Can't wait to see you work your magic on this one. Dork on

A KD80 was my first real long-term dirt bike. They're great bikes and I'll never forget the funny little whine that engine made. It was very smooth power.

Early 70's honda SL 100. I rode that thing all over town and could do wheelies for blocks. I think I wore out a pair of boots every year dragging my feet on the ground. Hahahaha, I loved that bike.
I hear what you're saying fabs that to had smooth power.

Got this in the mail today. A ported 90 head, appears to have heavy duty springs and the intake has been ported to 27mm and even the exhaust has been ported to 26. This will go nice with the Big h&s stroker we picked up. Now waiting for a set of bored out cases, not sure how big.
Thanks to a bit of nudging to buy these from a fellow member here we were able to get these real cheap.
