I think you know I use to run the 450R exhaust and it is quiet when your not on it, but opens up pretty good. I was running the HRC tip or "OPEN" end and I was happy as far as bang for DA BUCK.

The 450r silencer with the spark arrestor in isn't too loud at all. I ran it for the brief period before taking the bike apart.

I got the new engine all mounted up

here's a few pics.

This thing is sooo clean

When I got it all mounted up in the frame, the first thing I did was change the oil filter before I put the oil cooler on. I noticed right away that the filter was installed backwards.. I about crapped a brick when I seen it

I'm hoping for the best here

What kind of a**hole would install the oil filter backwards? I mean, you would have to be a complete idiot to do that! You would literally have to try and be that dumb! My god!

And just think, Roy, you were gonna give up triking...

The only thing I have to do as far as finishing up putting it together is installing the carb,air box, exhaust and changing the throttle back to the thumby

oh by the way, to all the people that gave a compliment on the fork boots, DO NOT BUY THEM, they are garbage!!!!!!! The left one is split in about 10 places and the right one is in about 5 places

That sucks about the oil filter being in backass. Expect the worse and pray for the best. Hope your other engine has a good cam you can rob, might be a good idea to pop the top off while there is still nothing in the way and see how bad things are.

Na, I installed it correctly this time DC, as soon as I took the cover off, I noticed it, the spring was inside the hole on the filter.. I just can't win
